Document Scanner Software

The Scanner Canon Canoscan LiDE 200 Scanner is quite easy to use and very professional. It is lightweight and it needs only a single USB cable for the power and the data transfer. It can even operate quite well attached to a laptop. In this way, graphical work and the management of the documents becomes an easy thing to do. Besides that, the scanner is compact and practical. It has EZ buttons. By using those you can scan, e-e-mail and copy the documents. Also, you can make PDF’s. The light source is 3-colour (RGB) LED and also the optical resolution is set at 4800 x 4800dpi. The more sophisticated, selectable resolution is between 25 and 19200dpi. The color scanning is done on an input of 48bit and for grayscale it is of 16bit input. The maximum size of the document that can be handled by this scanner is a A4 format or Letter [216 x 297mm].
The main particularities about this scanner are the high efficiency and also the rapid way in which it makes things. For the color documents the scanning speed is 2.5 msec/line (at 300 dpi) and 33.3 msec./line (at 4800 dpi). For grayscale documents the speed is 2.3 msec/line (at 300 dpi) and 11.1 msec./line (at 4800 dpi). And if the document is black and white then the speed is 2.3 msec/line (at 300 dpi) and 11.1 msec./line (ay 4800 dpi).

This scanner is quite flat and has software like ArcSoft Photo Studio, Scan Gear and MP Navigator EX. The operation system is Windows Vista, or XP SP2 or 2000 Professional SP4 as OS. Some have Internet Explorer 6.0, a CD-ROM drive, Display 1024×768 Mac OS X v.10.3.9, v.10.4, v.10.5 / Safari / CD-ROM drive. This scanner can support bulk objects like books, plain paper and business cards. The canner operates on a power consumption of only 2.5W. If the scanner is in standby mode the power consumption decreases till 1.4W.
