In the last period, the document scanning has begun to be very popular and used as a technology. Some time ago it was impossible to retrieve lost data, or archives and even old text, pictures and files. Nowadays, the new technology has changed the way in which the offices work.

But what does document scanning mean?
It means that the text from one piece of paper is simultaneously transmitted in a digital mater. It is transferred on the screen of the computer. By using this method, the analog data or recording is transformed into digital data. In this way, the computers can acknowledge and read this data and do operations with it.

Of course that this document scanning procedure has made things so much easier. For example, an old paper that has become yellow and crumpled or stained it is recovered. The text is retrieved and saved.

The tools that are used for the document scanning

First of all, you need to have a computer with a document scanning system installed. The system is quite cheap. The scanning equipment produces clear images. You will even get the smallest details on that paper.

How does it work?

The scanning system retrieves the data as an image and not words. Then the image that has characters is converted into text. The text then is readable with the help of the program of optical recognition of character. This optical word recognition program is also called POWR.
Nowadays the document scanning is very used in all areas.
